RUPES Zephir Gloss Coarse Gel Compound is recommended for first step polishing.
Its grain is the most ‘aggressive’ of the BigFoot abrasives and is used for the rapid removal of marks and scratches. This ultra-heavy cut high performance abrasive gel utilizes advanced abrasive technology that quickly eliminates up to P1500 grit sanding marks, scratches and swirl marks from fresh paint work. At the same time Zephir is highly effective in restoring paints and creating a high degree of gloss.
RUPES Zephir Gloss Coarse Gel Compound is designed to be used with a Coarse (blue) BigFoot Polishing Foam Pads on a RUPES BigFoot Random Orbital Polisher.
RUPES Zephir Gloss Coarse Gel Compound is VOC compliant and body-shop safe. Zephir Coarse Gel Compound is also suitable for use on marine/rv gel coat.
For best results, follow application of RUPES Zephir Gloss Coarse Gel Compound with RUPES Keramic Gloss Fine Gel Polish. This will further refine the surface, maximizing gloss before you apply your wax or sealant.
